AHPRA Registered Nurses and/or Mental Health Nurses

- Wallace Street Recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Mental Health and General Nurses who are passionate about providing consumer-centred care at one of NSW Correctional Centres
- Permanent fulltime, part-time and, Fixed Term Contracts available

The Role encompasses:
Provision of primary health care, triage and assessment, co-ordination and delivery of nurse-led-clinics, health promotion activities, liaison with an interdisciplinary team, care planning and reviews, conducting health assessments, alcohol and drug treatment, mental health and providing immunisations and chronic disease management. Additionally, the position will work with a number of Multiple Disciplinary Teams.
Essential Criteria:
- AHPRA Nurses Registration - unrestricted
- Highly developed skills in the mental health area
- A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A National Criminal History Record Check
