Are you a Physiotherapist looking for career progression and/or a sea change away from the busy metropolitan area?
- Wallace Street Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic General Physiotherapist to join a well-established, multidisciplinary Allied Health Team, for a hospital group that is located in a beautiful area of regional NSW, near the beach
- Permanent fulltime and also part-time positions are available, along with short or longterm contract roles
- This is an excellent opportunity to expand your experience in the hospital sector and also, in the community.
- Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, these roles involve acute and post-operative rehabilitation (inpatients and outpatients both 1:1 and group settings), the Injury Management Services, hydrotherapy and delivering education services to community groups both on and offsite
- Both hospitals have well-appointed rehabilitation pools and there is an opportunity to work within one hospital or across two hospitals in the region
- Work with a passionate supportive team of professionals in supportive environments
Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Experience or training in orthopaedics, rehabilitation and musculoskeletal
- Competent in water safety and hydrotherapy
- Current Australian driver’s license or equivalent
- A National Criminal History Record Check and a Working With Children Check
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, interpersonal and communication skills
- A strong customer and quality focus
- An ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team based approach
- An ability to work autonomously and independently when required
- Well developed organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of evidence based practice
- Australian visa working rights
